Dr Melanie Stammers, Roving Researcher, and Cheryl Smythe, Head of Strategic Research Development, spoke to Katherine Sanderson about the success of the role implemented at the Institute to support researchers during long term leave. Katherine also spoke to Dr Melanie Eckersley-Maslin about her experience working with Melanie to maintain her research momentum. Melanie has been successful in helping to implement a scheme inspired by the Roving Researcher at the University of Melbourne鈥檚 Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
